"It's well in 2012!"

Welcome

Welcome to the Emanuel Healing Temple website! We invite you to join us soon for one of our worship services, but in the meantime feel free to search our website and learn more about our ministry.

We at Emanuel believe in living life according to Gods standard of salvation. In the Holy Bible we find that God calls his people to be Holy and Spirit Filled. We believe in water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the receiving of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38; 10:44-48:19:1-6). We believe that having a personal relationship with Christ is vital to a successful life.

If you would like to speak with someone further regarding our beliefs contact us today!

Our primary mission at Emanuel Healing Temple is to glorify God in everything we do. We understand that Christ has called us to be living witnesses and teach the unadulterated word of God!

We want to lead as many as we can to salvation. We are a loving body of believers that has a passion for helping the community in any way that we can.

At Emanuel we offer back to school drives, revivals, and workshops that help strengthen the community and the Body of Christ. We pray that you will join us in our mission to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This Week's Sermon

This week Bishop Vincen Kirkwood  Sr. preached a dynamic word from the Lord! Bishop talked about the parable of the Prodigal Son. He posed the question "When will you return home?"

In the story of the Prodigal son, the younger of two sons left his father’s hours only to experience extreme loss of money and possessions. This experience made him realize that he needed to go back to his father and repent for sinning against God. Bishop Kirkwood challenged the church to see our own shortcomings through this story. After breaking down the story of the youngest son Bishop asserted that many of us have left our heavenly fathers home. He went on to explain that a consequence of leaving is loss of the covering that God gives us!

Bishop concluded with a call to “come back home!" He stated that God is waiting for us with open arms once we repent and admit that we have sinned against him. It is a powerful and relevant message.
You can read the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-24!
